Prior to joining Rail-Splitter Capital Management in 2008, Mr. Koeplin was a Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at Mansur Capital Corporation where his duties included the assessment of the financial controls, back office operations, and portfolio pricing of the underlying hedge funds included in its fund of hedge fund products.
From 1980 to 1990, he was with the tax department of KPMG LLP consulting with closely-held corporations and subsequently founded his own certified public accounting firm.
Mr. Koeplin received a BA in Accounting from Michigan State University and a Masters of Science in Taxation from DePaul University.
