Koome Imathiu

Mr. Koome Imathiu is a Managing Director at Global Environment Fund Management Corp.
Prior to joining GEF, Mr. Imathiu was a Principal with Helios Investment Partners, where he focused on Sub-Saharan African investments in energy, transportation, agri-processing and technology.
Mr. Imathiu also worked for Goldman Sachs undertaking both principal investments and investment banking advisory transactions related to power generation, food processing and telecommunications in Africa.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Imathiu held positions in the U.S.
with Goldman Sachs, McKinsey & Co. and Amazon.com.
Mr. Imathiu holds a MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Computer Science and Economics from Vassar College.
