Joy R. Roberts

Prior to joining HCM in 1997, Ms. Roberts served as Portfolio Manager with NationsBank Private Investments and Retirement Services Manager of Central Texas Region, NationsBank in Austin from 1986 to 1997.
She was an Assistant Vice President in Institutional Trust Services, Texas Commerce Bank - Austin from 1981 to 1986.
She was an Employee Benefits Coordinator, Mitchell Energy & Development Corporation, Houston from 1979 to 1981 and Risk Management Associate with Pennzoil Company, Houston from 1970 to 1974.
A Certified Financial Planner, a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist, and an Investment Adviser Certified Compliance Professional (sm), Ms. Roberts earned her BBA from the University of Houston.
Ms. Roberts is a member and past President of the Austin Chapter of the Financial Planning Association and a member of the Estate Planning Council of Central Texas.
She is a member and past President of the Austin Chapter of the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists, serves on the Board of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Capital Area, and is Treasurer of the Spicewood Arts Society.
