Howard Teicher

Women In Community Service, Inc. provides life skills and job readiness training and support services to low income women and families, women transitioning from prison to regular life, welfare to work, public assistance to self-sustenance. It also provides programs to help disadvantaged youth learn job and life skills. It works with Department of Labor's Job Corps providing mentoring, job placement and independent living skills. The organization was founded in 1964 by John F. Kennedy and is headquartered in Alexandria, VA.
