Gustavo Leal

Mr. Gustavo Leal is a Junior Portfolio Manager at SingAlliance Pte Ltd. and a Chief Operating Officer at Kilde Pte Ltd. He began his career in 2007 as a Credit Analyst at IBM Brazil.
Within five years, he was appointed to lead the Latin America Restructuring team in managing the non-performing loan portfolio in the region.
In 2016, he joined the Pricing department, which was responsible for evaluating the financing scope of IBM's IT infrastructure projects, including the first smart city programme in Latin America.
In 2018, he moved to Singapore to join Kilde, an early-stage FinTech company, as CIO, where he helped to build a licensed platform for alternative investments mainly focused on private debt opportunities by non-bank financial institutions in APAC and Europe.
He also led the Credit and Operations teams and assisted in managing investor relations for the platform.
He graduated with a Bachelor in Economics from Pontifical Catholic University (PUC), Brazil.
He also holds a post-graduate certificate in Corporate Finance from Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV), Brazil and an MBA from IE Business School, Spain.
