Greg Swaim

Mr. Gregory Swaim is a Co-Chief Investment Officer at Blue Rock Advisors LLC.
He is a senior member of Blue Rock’s research team and a member of the investment committee.
He conducts initial and ongoing investment due diligence of current and prospective investments and helps lead the team of analysts that produce the firm's qualitative and quantitative research.
Prior to becoming the Director of Research, he spent six years as a Senior Investment Analyst and as Director of Research Technology, during which time he produced qualitative manager research and lead the production of both Blue Rock’s quantitative analysis and the internal development of proprietary systems used in investment decision-making and risk management.
Before joining Blue Rock in September 2015, Mr. Swaim served as the head of a subsidiary of Capistar Franchise Holdings, which conducted due diligence on franchise investments and helped franchise-format companies raise capital for expansion efforts.
Prior to that, he was an Associate at Private Advisors, a $3.5b fund of hedge funds in Richmond, Virginia, where he developed quantitative analytics and information systems.
He earned a B.S.B.A.
in Finance at the Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond.
