Dr. Gibson joined Emergent Technologies, Inc. (ETI) in the summer of 2006.
Dr. Gibson received a bachelors degree in Chemistry from Texas A&M University in 1991 and a Ph.D.
in Biomedical Sciences at University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth in 1996.
He then spent 3 years as a post-doctoral research associate at Texas A&M University, where he continued his study of enzyme kinetics and protein chemistry, publishing several papers.
Dr. Gibson worked extensively with Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) and other novel spectroscopic assay development.
He also worked in the area of insect biochemistry through the Texas Agricultural Experiment Station (TEAS) in the Entomology department of Texas A&M University.
Since 1999, Dr. Gibson has been on the business side of the life sciences, including Sales, Marketing, and Business Development roles.
Most recently, he worked for Luminex Corporation for 6 years, where he served as the Director of Scientific Alliances and Director of Marketing.
