I look after all the institutional investors in our funds and I also raise new funds for the Livingbridge team to invest.
What I love is that I get to work with the entire Livingbridge team – new investment, value strategy group, origination and finance – to provide investors with the information they need.
I feel very lucky to work with such a varied but smart and complementary bunch of people.
That’s a real privilege.
I grew up in Scotland and studied for an MA in Business Studies and Languages at Edinburgh University (and in Spain) before coming south to work for Barclays Bank.
In 1995 I did a private equity secondment and knew it was what I wanted to do! I spent 6 years doing deals and joined Livingbridge in 2001.
When Livingbridge became independent in 2005, my natural preference to deal with people over numbers led me to take on the investor relations role.
My perfect day out of work is probably relaxing, reading or having a really competitive game of bat and ball by the waters edge, on a beautiful sandy beach in Portugal.
