BEA Union Investment Management Ltd. (BEA Union Investment) is an investment management firm headquartered in Hong Kong. The firm was founded as East Asia Asset Management Co. Ltd. in 1988 through a joint venture between The Bank of East Asia of Hong Kong (BEA) (owns 51%) and Union Asset Management Holding AG of Germany (Union Investment) (owns 49%). The current structure was established in 2007 and is the investment management hub in Asia for both BEA and Union Investment. BEA Union Investment offers comprehensive investment solutions to retail, institutional and pension clients.

Allianz Global Investors Hong Kong Ltd. (AGI-HK) is the Hong Kong office of Allianz Global Investors Asia Pacific GmbH, ultimately held by Allianz SE (FR: ALV; ADR: AZSEY). Allianz Global Investors Asia Pacific GmbH is the holding company for Allianz in Asia Pacific, as well as their regional hub for China, Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore and Taiwan. AGI-HK was established in Hong Kong in 2000 and manages mutual funds for retail investors and offers global investment solutions to institutional investors through access to products managed by Allianz subsidiaries and affiliates including RCM (fundamental equity), Nicholas-Applegate (change-focused equity), PIMCO (fixed income), Oppenheimer Capital (value-oriented equity), and Allianz Alternative Asset Management (hedge funds).
