Fleer is Co-Founder & Portfolio Manager at Clean Yield Group, Inc. Prior to co-founding the Clean Yield in 1984, Mr. Fleer worked as an independent building contractor.
Mr. Fleer traces his interest in the stock market to his grandfather.
He has been a private investor for several years and has used his own social philosophy to guide and screen his investments.
An active opponent of nuclear power and weapons, and an active proponent of environmental responsibility, he has long worked to help others design investment portfolios that reflect their social principles.
Mr. Fleer attended Quaker secondary school and pursued higher education at Colorado College.
