ActiveTorque Pty Ltd was established in 2006 to commercialize leading research out of the University of Queensland related to the optimization of an internal combustion engine's operation in real time. ActiveTorque's unique technology which utilizes patent-pending algorithms coupled with a contactless torque sensor allows the engine control unit to automatically compensate for manufactured and environmental conditions affect engine performance. The efficiency benefits yielded include increased performance, reduced fuel consumption and decreased emissions.
