Mr. Chris S.
Crossan, CPA, is Chief Compliance Officer & Vice President at Dimensional Fund Advisors, Inc. He joined Dimensional in 2004 as the firm's chief compliance officer.
He is responsible for making sure the policies, procedures, practices, and marketing materials for the firm and its global subsidiaries comply with industry regulations as set forth by the US Securities and Exchange Commission, the National Association of Securities Dealers, and other US regulatory agencies.
Before coming to Dimensional, Mr. Crossan was senior compliance officer for Invesco Institutional in Atlanta, Georgia, where he was instrumental in developing and managing the firm's compliance functions.
Previously, he filled a variety of roles at the US Securities and Exchange Commission, inspecting more than 100 investment firms.
His most recent role at the SEC was as branch chief, overseeing their mutual fund and advisor inspection programs in the Southeastern US.
Mr. Crossan is a CPA, licensed in 2002 in the state of Georgia.
He holds a BS in accountancy from Arizona State University.
