Y Care International is a partnership-based organization that works with local youth-focused organizations in some of the world's poorest countries to create opportunities for disadvantaged young women and men. The non-profit company is based in London, UK. The organization partners with YMCA's around the world to push poverty back and young people's potential forward. Y Care International strives to ensure that young people are supported through access to training, business and life skills, tools of the trade, and entrepreneurial opportunities for growth. The organization's goal is to help young people get themselves into work and out of poverty. Y Care International was founded in 1984 by Terry Waite, David Bedford, and John Naylor, and the CEO is Leigh Daynes.
