Al Portais SVP of Business Development for Strategic Accounts and Channels.
In this position Al is responsible developing existing and new business opportunities with major accounts and to build partnerships and alliances with strategic channels.
Al began his career with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in 1968.
He held various management positions in engineering, planning, finance and operations.
In his last 10 years with SBC Al held executive positions as VP - Network Technology and VP - Network Planning.
In these positions Al was responsible for selecting technology to evolve the SBC network into the future and to develop specific implementation strategies and plans for utilizing both new and existing technologies.
These technology and evolution plans where closely coordinated with customer and marketing requirements.
Al holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arkansas Board Member Intellecare of Texas
