Svetoslav Gatchev is Director of Financing for Claremont Energy.
He is also a Vice President of Delphos International, which he joined in 1997.
Mr. Gatchev has a particular expertise in arranging long-term, limited-recourse financing for investments in energy and other infrastructure projects in emerging markets, utilizing multilateral/bilateral development banks and export credit agencies in conjunction with commercial sources of funding.
He has worked on many structured trade and project finance power transactions in Latin America and Eastern Europe, including for AES Panama, AES Parana (Argentina), AES Andres (Dominican Republic), AES Maritza East 1 (Bulgaria), CEPM (Dominican Republic), and Egechilca (Peru).
Mr. Gatchev holds an Executive MBA from New York University's School of Business (valedictorian in finance) and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration (summa cum laude) from Washington College.
Mr. Gatchev speaks fluent Bulgarian and proficient Russian and Spanish.
