Robert B. Blagden

The Regents of the University of California (Board of Regents) is the governing board of the University of California (UC), a public university system headquartered in Oakland, California. The firm was founded in 1868 to manage the endowment, pension, retirement savings and working capital assets for UC. Board of Regents manages the assets of the following investment portfolios: Endowment, Pension, Retirement Savings Program, Working Capital Short-Term Investment Pool and Working Capital Total-Return Investment Pool.

Stanford Management Co. (SMC) is the investment office of Stanford University, a private research university headquartered in Stanford, California. The firm was founded in 1991 and invests the Endowment and other financial assets to provide long-term support to the University. SMC provides expert investment management and stewardship of the Merged Pool, which includes substantially all of Stanford’s investable endowment assets. They are overseen by a Board of Directors appointed by the University Board of Trustees.
