Mike Shields

Mr. Mike Shields is Co-Founder at Magnet Capital.
Prior to co-founding Magnet Capital in 2001, Mr. Shields is an experienced commercial banker, business consultant, financial specialist and small business owner.
His extensive years of commercial banking background has centered around small and middle-market lending, primarily in the West and Southwestern US.
He has held senior roles with banks and has maintained a successful career through several economic cycles.
As a consultant, he advised lending institutions on programs to enhance deal flow and advised bank clients on programs to enhance their borrowing relationships.
Mr. Shields holds a BS degree in Industrial Management from Wayne State University and is a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington.
