Mr. Marc van Heems, CFA, is a Portfolio Manager & Analyst at Vontobel Asset Management AG.
He joined Vontobel Asset Management in February 2021.
Prior to joining Vontobel, he was Portfolio Manager for global credit at Lombard Odier Investment Managers (LOIM), responsible for the active implementation of trades in the segments of investment grade and BB/B ratings, including senior and subordinated paper, as well as credit default swaps.
Along with these responsibilities, he was in charge of the credit and ESG analysis of issuers in various non-financial sectors, such as automobiles, capital goods, China real estate, and India renewables.
He started his career in 2011 at Barclays Capital in their summer internship program before joining LOIM in their graduate program in 2012.
He holds a Master’s degree in Financial Markets from EDHEC Business School in France.
