L. Norfleet Smith

Mr. Smith oversees the day-to-day functions of the firm and sits on the Investment Committee.
As the former President of a regional mortgage company, he was responsible for operations, marketing, pipeline management and sales of all mortgages.
Within three years of its inception, Mr. Smith's company was generating over $100 million in loan production annually, had revenues of over $2.25 million, and employed more than 30 individuals.
His background includes financial analysis, asset/liability management, and fixed income trading.
Prior to his involvement in the mortgage industry, Mr. Smith served as Senior Vice President of a regional financial institution.
Mr. Smith graduated from Hampden Sydney College with a degree in Economics, and has completed additional study through the Wharton School of Business correspondence program.
Mr. Smith is a member of the Richmond Society of Financial Analysts.
