Trust in 2005, Mr. Danton was the corporate controller and a senior vice president of The Charles Schwab Corporation for six years.
Earlier, he served as chief financial officer of Schwab’s Retail Enterprise.
Prior to joining Schwab, Mr., Danton held executive and financial management positions with Citibank and Security Pacific National Bank.
At Citibank in San Francisco, he held regional chief financial officer roles and served as area director in charge of 40 branches.
Mr. Danton began his career with Ernst & Young.
Mr. Danton earned a B.A.
degree in Mathematics & Economics from the University of California at Davis and an M.B.A.
from the University of California at Berkeley.
He has been active in the Boy Scouts of America, The Moraga Educational Foundation and is a past director of a regional food bank.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Financial Executives International.
