Mr. Istok Sernc is Investment Manager at mic AG .
At mic AG, Istok Sernc is responsible for the areas of financial advisory, start-up evaluation and investor relations.
In addition, he looks after some of the portfolio companies that mic AG holds shares in – primarily from the sectors of optoelectronics, fiber-optic and medical technology.
Mr Sernc had previously gained experience in a private bank, in the mergers and acquisitions division of a private equity company, and most recently with the corporate finance advisory team of audit and consulting firm Deloitte & Touche.
He has several multi-disciplinary degrees.
Before studying for his MBA at both Harvard and Sydney University, he studied political science in Munich as well as business management in the UK.
In addition, he has a postgraduate degree in international investment and property law (Executive LL.M.) from Liechtenstein.
