During his career, he served twice on the Board of the Southern Cemetery Association, was President of the North Carolina Cemetery Association and has served as Chairman for several Sales and Marketing seminars for the SCA and ICFA.
While in the military, he pursued his education at Chippewa Community College in Sault Ste.
