David Passalent

Mr. Passalent founded a small investment counseling and portfolio management company before joining SAC.
This endeavor was based on technical analysis involving system trading and modeling.
He has worked as a fixed income sales broker in Tokyo and consulted for mid-sized corporate treasury clients in foreign exchange and interest rate risk management, employing various derivative strategies.
Mr. Passalent has an honours BSc.
in chemistry, an MBA, CFA designation and has completed the CMT (Chartered Market Technician).
He has lectured for the Toronto CFA Society Candidate Lecture series (economics, econometrics, quantitative analysis and statistics).
