Mr. Charlie R.
Simon is a Director-Trading at Richard Bernstein Advisors LLC since November 2009.
Prior to joining RBA, Mr. Simon was the director of equity trading for 21 years at Lazard Asset Management.
During his tenure there, he set up and oversaw Lazard's global trading operation, which eventually included trading desks in New York, London and Sydney, and traded or supervised the trading of equities, options and derivatives in all the developed markets and most emerging markets.
Mr. Simon started his trading career in 1975 at Prudential Insurance Co.'s equity division, where he ran the trading desk from 1983 to 1986.
Mr. Simon holds an MBA in Finance from Rutgers University and a BA in Economics from Union College.
He was a charter member of Institutional Investor magazine's Trader Forum and an officer of the National Organization of Investment Professionals, and served two terms on the NYSE Institutional Traders Advisory Committee.
