John Graham

Dr. John Graham is a President & Chief Executive Officer at Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and a Senior Managing Director at Canada Pension Plan Investment Board Private Investments.
He is on the Board of Directors at Antares Holdings LP, Antares Unitholder Investment LLC and LongPoint Minerals II LLC.
Dr. Graham joined CPP Investments in 2008 and has worked in both the Total Portfolio Management group (now Total Fund Management) and in Private Investments.
John took on leadership of Principal Credit Investments in 2015 as Managing Director and Global Head of the group.
In 2018, he was appointed as Senior Managing Director & Global Head of Credit Investments, where he was responsible for leading credit investments globally.
He was appointed President & Chief Executive Officer in February 2021 and is responsible for leading CPP Investments and its investment activities.
Prior to joining CPP Investments, he spent nine years at Xerox Innovation Group in research and strategy roles.
Dr. Graham holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto and a PhD from the University of Western Ontario.
He is a CFA charterholder.
