Shugart, CFA MBA, is a Chief Operating Officer & Investment Analyst at Crystal Rock Capital Management LLC.
He is a Founder of the firm and investment role includes analytic responsibilities for financial and healthcare-related industries.
Prior to forming Crystal Rock, Mr. Shugart worked in equity sales, covering middle-market hedge funds and investment advisors at Credit Suisse First Boston from 1999 through 2004.
He transitioned his career towards equities when he joined Lincoln Capital Management (1996 through 1998) as an associate equity analyst with coverage responsibility in the consumer sector.
Prior to joining Lincoln Capital Management, he was a vice president/executive director at Goldman, Sachs & Company.
He worked in New York and London in fixed income sales.
His investment career started at A.G.
Becker Paribas in 1981.
He holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business and a B.A. in History and Economics from Duke University.
He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
