Dick Cole

Mr. Richard K.
Cole, Jr., is a Managing Director at Andersen Tax LLC.
He has over 33 years of experience in tax practice, primarily in the areas of corporate, reorganization and international tax matters.
He has extensive experience with manufacturing and distribution, high tech and personal service businesses.
Mr. Cole's broad experience in international taxation for a wide variety of businesses includes consultation and planning for inbound and outbound transactions, advice to U.S.
businesses exporting abroad regarding export incentives and hybrid structures to maximize tax benefits, and the planning and implementation of tax-effective international restructurings.
Mr. Cole also has extensive experience in tax controversies and in individual tax planning for nonresident aliens and expatriates.
Before joining Andersen Tax, Mr. Cole was a Tax Partner at Grant Thornton, and also served for eight years in the National Office of the Internal Revenue Service in Washington, D.C., where he focused on corporate, reorganization and international tax issues.
Mr. Cole also served as a Captain in the U.S.
Army in Vietnam.
He received his BA degree in English from Providence College, a graduate degree from Georgetown University and from Boston College.
