Dawit Heck

Dawit joined Bain Capital Ventures in 2020.
He focuses on data and analytics focused application software and retail-related technologies.
Dawit is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including sourcing, due diligence, transaction execution and portfolio company support.
Prior to Bain Capital Ventures, Dawit was an investor at Long Ridge Equity Partners, a growth-stage private equity firm focused on the business technology sector.
Prior to that, Dawit worked at Lazard Frères in the investment banking division advising companies on special situations, restructurings, and distressed M&A across a multitude of industries.
Dawit graduated with a degree in history and Hispanic studies from the University of Pennsylvania.
He enjoys traveling, playing Spikeball, watching all sports, and can be found petting a dog at any social gathering.
