Mr. David A. Asper is Founder at Canterbury Park Management, Inc. since 2006.
In addition to his role at Canterbury, Mr. Asper is Executive Vice President of Canwest and Chairman of the National Post newspaper.
He oversees the company's corporate affairs department as well as the corporate office operations in Winnipeg.
He is a member of the Board of Directors of CanWest and serves as a member of both its corporate Executive Management and Pension Committees.
Prior to co-founding Caterbury in 2006, he served in a variety of management roles within the CanWest organization and played major roles in a variety of acquisitions both in Canada and internationally.
He is also responsible for a number of the Asper family's private investments, including its real estate division.
