Michael W. Schmitz

Pror to joining Cotton Creek Capital Management, Mr. Schmitz was with American Capital.
Mr. Schmitz joined American Capital in June 2007 as an Associate in the Dallas office and was promoted to Vice President in January of 2008.
Prior to joining American Capital, Mr. Schmitz was a Senior Associate at Hunt Private Equity Group, the middle-market private equity group affiliated with Ray L.
Hunt.
At Hunt, Mr. Schmitz focused on sourcing, executing and managing buyouts of consumer-oriented product and services companies.
Prior to Hunt, Mr. Schmitz was a Senior Associate at Austin Ventures where he focused on private equity investments in the business services, software and services and healthcare services verticals.
Prior to Austin Ventures, Mr. Schmitz was an Analyst with Goldman Sachs & Co. in New York in the Communications, Media and Entertainment Group.
While at Goldman, Mr. Schmitz completed several M&A transactions and public financings for media, telecom and communications equipment clients.
Mr. Schmitz received his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and his BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin.
