CPS was formed in 2015 following Cowen Group’s acquisition of Concept Capital Markets LLC. The non-profit company is based in Aventura, FL. HFA's membership includes hedge fund firms, financial institutions, funds of hedge funds, family offices, public and private pension funds, endowments and foundations, high net worth individuals, allocators, and service providers.

Founded in 2005 by Darren Day and Patrick Boyle, Alaris Trading Partners LLC is an SEC registered broker/dealer located in Del Mar, California. The firm offers prime brokerage, portfolio accounting, trade execution and soft-dollar services to hedge funds, traditional money managers, registered investment advisors and professional traders. Their clients are able to trade internationally and domestically in equities, bonds and off exchange forex through the firm's custodial and trading alliances.
