Tree Capital LLC
Tree Capital LLC Investment ManagersFinance Tree Capital advises long/short equity hedge funds that focus on Latin America. Their investment process involves a top-down macro-overlay which is supported by fundamental, bottom-up industry and company research. Tree Capital's investable universe includes more stocks in Latin America (approximately 400) than classic global emerging markets funds. An intense focus on risk management is a critical element of the firm's investment approach. Tree Capital has broad trading authority; however, they primarily buy and sell shares of publicly-listed Latin American companies. With emphasis on fundamental research, the firm seeks to identify the best risk/return opportunities in the region. The selections are made independent of industry, index weight or size of the company, but always satisfy clearly established portfolio parameters for liquidity, diversification and industry exposure. Tree Capital may also invest in certain non-listed and otherwise illiquid securities, which are generally equity or equity linked securities but may also include fixed income securities. | Gründer | - |
