Karen Shoos

Karen Lipton Shoos currently works at Maryland Tech Council Venture Mentoring Services, as Director-Operations.
Ms. Shoos also formerly worked at American Association of Blood Banks, as Chief Executive Officer from 1994 to 2013, Celldex Therapeutics, Inc., as Independent Chairman from 2019 to 2025, AVANT Immunotherapeutics, Inc., as Director from 2001 to 2008, and The American National Red Cross, as Senior Vice President-Biomedical Services from 1993 to 1994.
Ms. Shoos received her graduate degree from Case Western Reserve University and undergraduate degree from Yale University.
