Gilbert Mittler

Gilbert Mittler is a Director of CaiFor SA. He was Senior Officer of Belgian holding company Sofina from 1976 to 1988.
Mr. Mittler was appointed as Head of Corporate Development for the AG Group in 1988.
He was Managing Director of ASLK-CGER Bank and a Member of the Executive Committee in 1993 and was promoted to Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee in 1997.
Mr. Mittler was Director of the Fortis Group Finance and Development and Secretary of the Executive and Supervisory Board of Fortis.
In 1998 he was appointed as a Member of the Executive Committee of Fortis and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 2000.
Mr. Mittler began his career as an Accountant at Arthur Andersen in 1974.
He received a degree from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, Ecole de Commerce Solvay (Belgium) in 1974.
