Adam is the President of J.
Jeffers & Co., a mission-driven real estate development and investment firm with a proven track record of success across multiple asset classes, capital structures, and construction types.
From 2014-2021, Adam served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Equity Commonwealth, a publicly traded office REIT chaired by Sam Zell.
Prior to his work with Equity Commonwealth, Adam served as Managing Director of Green Street Advisors where he ran their consulting and advisory practice and played a key role in the firm’s REIT investment arm.
In his 20 years at Green Street, Adam was involved in over $50 billion of transactions managing a partnership with Eastdil Secured, and he at one time led the firm’s retail and lodging research efforts.
He was a member of Green Street’s Board of Directors, and currently is the non-executive Chairman of the Board of Modiv, a NYSE traded NNN REIT.
Adam also sits on TwinRock Partners’ Advisory Council and is a member of Nareit and ULI.
Adam has an MBA in Finance and Real Estate from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Economies of Industrial Societies from the University of California, Berkeley.
